Today is a big day! We will welcome the Rev. Tommy Dillon as Rector today at Grace. The music will include some traditional hymns, some contemporary hymns and some relevant pop music—you know, our usual Grace fare. Welcome Tommy!!

The service looks like this so far. There will be a few surprises too. I'll let you in on those later in the month. Especially excited about the surprises! :)

Addition, July 21. The surprises:

One of prodigal daughters, Olivia, sang Like a Prayer, you know that old Madonna song. I hear there is a video out there and will post it soon. It was exquisite. "Life is a mystery...and it feels like home."

Two of our Grace high schoolers, sisters Nina and Josie, sang Naive Melody by the Talking Heads—"Home is where I want to be...I know I've got plenty of time..." It was a beautiful gift of welcome!

We are saving Peace Train for our Homecoming Sunday in September!

REALLY looking forward to this. I'm hoping to wrangle some singers from other churches and community choirs to help out on this one!  LOVE!
